As a sunrise is the glowing first light of a new day, Easter morning is the glowing light conquering the penetrating darkness of a world with out Christ. As we walk our life’s path, we must take time to meditate on the essence of Easter’s luminous gift to mankind. God’s only Son was crucified, died, and has risen from the dead. Because of the resurrection of Jesus, we are easily able to see the depth, height and width of God’s incredible love for us.
Easter is the dawn of our Redemption. Jesus has triumphed over death; He has overcome sorrow, anguish, and the power of darkness. In him we are given everything. Outside of him our life is empty.
