Keeping in mind the words of Christ, Whenever two or more are gathered in my name, there am I in their midst; we would like to invite you to join us in our Lenten Rosary Walk.
We will pray a rosary daily, beginning on Ash Wednesday March 2nd, and will continue to do so until after the evening mass of the Lord’s Supper on Holy Thursday.
We will be praying for peace in our world, in our country, and within our families. We will also ask for God’s continued guidance of this project and for the safekeeping of our (soon to arrive?), missionary interns during the coming summer. Of course, special personal intentions can be added within the closeness to our hearts. Together, and with a determined commitment to our prayerful intentions we can experience “A Profound Spiritual Experience”.

Jesus often withdrew to the desert to pray. That same peaceful desert environment is available in Gallup. The Saint Kateri Rosary Walk is close to the Sacred Heart Cathedral and adjacent Sacred Heart School. It is a very small Catholic School, but the students and staff combine to adhere to Bishop Wall’s vision of a solid, quality Catholic education.
The staff and students attend daily mass and are learning prayers and responses in both English and Latin. It is a blessing to watch our bright and beautiful children learn their faith.
Other spiritually profound experiences in Gallup that you might engage and enjoy is a visit to the Missionaries of Charity, Little Sisters of the Poor, Maryknoll Missionaries, and the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Assisi. We encourage you to visit and see all of the Christian joy and unbridled kindness Gallup has to offer.
Have a blessed Lenten walk and remember to join us in prayer. May our good and merciful God keep you.
